Osakana Aquarium

Overview

Located within the Michi-no-Eki Rainbow Mori Park in Matsuno, the Osakana Aquarium offers a unique glimpse into the freshwater ecosystems of the Shimanto River and beyond. See rare Japanese freshwater fish like the red-eye, as well as tropical species. Don't miss the charming small-clawed otters, walking penguins, and a crocodile known for standing on two legs. The aquarium is easily accessible, just a 5-minute walk from Matsumaru Station. Allow about 1.5 - 2 hours to fully enjoy the exhibits and animal interactions. Open year-round, it's a great destination any time of day.
