Hirosaki Park, also known as Hirosaki Castle, is a beautifully maintained park on castle grounds, easily accessible by a 15-minute bus ride from Hirosaki Station. Renowned as a prime cherry blossom viewing spot, the park boasts approximately 2,600 cherry trees. Explore the castle keep (Hirosaki Castle Museum), Butokuden Rest Area, five important cultural property castle gates, three corner turrets, the Green Consultation Center, and the Hirosaki Castle Botanical Garden. Note that there is an admission fee for the main keep and northern area from April 1st to November 23rd (discounts available for groups of 10 or more).
