The Mitoyo City Hall Takuma Branch Office Shiun Deyama Ruins Museum is located near the summit observation deck of Mt. Shiun, in the Shonai Peninsula between Sakaide and Imabari. The museum showcases artifacts excavated from the Shiun Deyama site, including stone arrowheads, spears, and axes. Outside, visitors can explore a reconstructed Yayoi period dwelling. The museum also offers stunning views of the surrounding islands and features a cafe. The best time to visit is in the spring for cherry blossoms or in July for hydrangeas. Note that there is a short walk from the parking area to the museum.
