Togo Shrine, located near the summit of Mount Omine in Fukutsu City, Fukuoka, is dedicated to Admiral Heihachiro Togo, the commander who led the Japanese fleet to victory in the Battle of Tsushima during the Russo-Japanese War. The shrine features a monument modeled after the bridge of Admiral Togo's flagship, the battleship Mikasa, and a museum displaying artifacts from the Russo-Japanese War. Visit during the Spring Festival on May 27th or the Admiral's Birthday Festival on December 22nd. The shrine offers panoramic views of the Genkai Sea and a glimpse into Japanese naval history.
