Hōshōin Temple, also known as the Temple of Hagi (bush clover), is a serene temple of the Chisan sect of Shingon Buddhism. It's the 29th temple on the Kantō Thirty-Six Fudō pilgrimage. The temple grounds feature beautiful hagi flowers, best viewed from mid-July to early October, with a particularly stunning display behind the main hall near the graveyard. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views, including glimpses of trains passing in the distance. A small donation helps maintain the flowers. Located a short walk from Nogami Station on the Chichibu Railway, Hōshōin offers a peaceful escape into nature and traditional Japanese scenery.
