Kibiji Tsuru no Sato is a conservation facility dedicated to the protection and breeding of red-crowned cranes, a designated natural monument. Located next to Kokumin Shuku*a Sunroad Kibiji, it serves as a sub-center for the crane breeding program at Okayama Korakuen Garden. The facility houses around 10 cranes (as of September 2023) within its 3-hectare grounds, which feature diverse trees and flowers. Visitors can explore the grounds and learn about the cranes through exhibits and panels. It's best to visit during the day to fully appreciate the natural beauty and observe the cranes in their habitat. Access is through Sunroad Kibiji.
