Overview

The Kashihara Archaeological Institute Museum, near Unebigoryomae Station and Kashiharajingu-mae Station, showcases archaeological finds from the Nara Prefecture. Exhibits include artifacts from different periods, with a notable collection of mirrors excavated from the Kurozuka burial mound. The museum also features large haniwa figures and stone sarcophagi. Special exhibitions, like those focusing on the Soga clan or discoveries from the Tomio Maruyama site, are held periodically.
