Explore the Former Kishina Residence, a preserved merchant house in Mikuni, Sakai City. This unique building showcases the "Kagura-style" architecture, typical of the area, with a distinctive combination of gabled and hipped roofs. Once home to the Kishina family, who were successful lumber merchants, the residence offers a glimpse into the prosperous history of Mikuni. Located on Mikuni Minato Kitamae Street, near the Mikuni Minato Machiya Museum, it's easily accessible from Mikuni Station. Admission is ¥100, and you can explore the exhibits, including cultural artifacts on the second floor. Open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (closed Wednesdays and during the New Year holidays).
