Horikawa Dam

Discover Horikawa Dam, a relatively new rockfill dam nestled in the highlands of Fukushima Prefecture. The dam offers stunning views, especially on clear days when you can gaze out towards the city. The surrounding area is peaceful, filled with the scent of the forest and refreshing negative ions. It's an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoying the natural scenery. The dam office is staffed until evening and provides dam cards. You can also walk across the top of the dam. Access is via a narrow paved forest road, so traffic is light.
