Kuwana Castle Ruins Kyuka Park is a scenic park built on the former site of Kuwana Castle, easily accessible via a 5-minute walk from Honmachi bus stop (served by the A loop bus from JR/Kintetsu Kuwana Station). The park features remnants of the castle's moat, stone walls, and offers seasonal beauty with cherry blossoms in spring, azaleas in early summer, and colorful foliage in autumn. Visitors can enjoy strolling around the grounds, which include a Hachiman Shrine, a sumo ring, and various gardens. It's a popular spot for locals to relax and take walks, offering a peaceful atmosphere and picturesque views, especially during cherry blossom season. The park also has historical significance as the former residence of Honda Tadakatsu, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tokugawa.
