Shiga Kogen Roman Museum

Overview

Located near the entrance to Shiga Kogen, the Shiga Kogen Roman Museum, designed by architect Kisho Kurokawa, features a distinctive, eye-catching building. The museum showcases a diverse collection, including Roman glassware from two thousand years ago and Edo-period glass. Exhibits also include local art and photography. It's conveniently located near the Snow Monkey Park bus stop, making it an ideal stop while waiting for the bus. Note that photography policies vary within the museum.
