Sakurayama Park, located in Fujioka, Gunma, is famous for its approximately 7,000 winter cherry trees that bloom from November to December. Visitors can enjoy the stunning contrast of autumn foliage and winter cherry blossoms during mid-to-late November. The park also features around 3,000 spring cherry trees, resulting in a total of 10,000 cherry trees blooming in April. Don't miss the rare 'twice-blooming' winter cherry blossoms that bloom again in April after surviving the winter. Easily accessible by car from the Kanetsu and Joshin-etsu expressways, or by bus from JR stations, this park offers a spectacular view of cherry blossoms covering the entire mountain.
