Overview

Nestled at the foot of Mount Yotei in Hokkaido, Mount Yotei Natural Park Campground offers a serene escape with well-maintained facilities including cooking areas, restrooms, showers, and lighting. The campground is accessible via a 40-minute bus ride from Kutchan Station, disembarking at the Mount Yotei Natural Park stop. Offering both car and standard sites, the campground provides a comfortable outdoor experience with access to clean water sources and restrooms. A famous spring water spot is just a 10-minute drive away, and several onsen (hot springs) are within easy reach. Note that while close to the mountain, the views of Mount Yotei may be partially obstructed by the surrounding forest. Open to guide dogs and equipped to accommodate up to 105 tents, this campground is ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat in nature.
