Okahan-shu Otamaya Park is a historical park in Taketa, Oita, featuring the tombs of the Okahan clan lords and the Biunji Temple garden. Established in 1612 by the second lord, Hisamori Nakagawa, Biunji Temple houses the tombs of several generations of lords, including the first lord, Hidenari. Visitors can explore the serene grounds, including the Dragon's Singing Pond, which blooms with lotus flowers and irises in early summer. The park offers a glimpse into the region's history and is easily accessible, just a 5-minute drive from Bungo-Taketa Station on the JR Hohi Main Line. Note that the park has general public restrooms.
