Iwachi Beach, nestled in a tranquil cove, is renowned as one of the clearest beaches in West Izu. Easily accessible by a 12-minute bus ride from Matsuzaki Bus Terminal, this serene spot offers gentle waves and pristine waters perfect for families and those seeking a peaceful getaway. A unique feature is the free open-air bath, "D'azure Iwachi," fashioned from a repurposed fishing boat, allowing visitors to soak in the warm waters while still in their swimwear. Open from mid-July to late August, between 9 AM and 4 PM, Iwachi Beach provides a picturesque setting with its white sandy shores and the option to explore the nearby crab cave tunnel for stunning ocean views. Note that the tunnel has limited hours and can be dangerous due to strong waves.
