The Okukane Bridge, a vibrant red bridge located a short 5-minute walk from Keyakidaira Station on the Kurobe Gorge Railway, offers stunning views of the Kurobe River gorge. This pedestrian-only bridge, with its wooden planking, provides access to attractions like the Hitokui-iwa (Man-Eating Rock) and onward to Meiken Onsen and Babatani Onsen. The bridge stands 34 meters above the river, offering thrilling views of the emerald green waters below. For an alternative perspective, visit the Kawara observation deck to admire the bridge from below. Note that the bridge is inaccessible from December to mid-April when the Kurobe Gorge Railway is closed.
