The Oarai Marine Tower, a modern triangular tower covered in half-mirrored glass, offers panoramic views from its 60-meter-high observation deck. Visitors can see Mount Fuji, the Nikko-Nasu mountain range, and cityscapes of Mito, Katsuta, and Hitachi. The tower also features a marine theater and a quiz corner. On the 2nd floor, you'll find Panzer Vor, a cafe popular with fans of the anime "Girls und Panzer" and locals. Located near the ferry terminal, it's a great spot to start your Oarai exploration. Admission is ¥340 for adults and ¥170 for children.
