Explore the Yoshimi Hundred Caves, a fascinating cluster of over 200 ancient tombs dating back to the late Kofun period. Designated as a national historic site, these unique cave tombs offer a glimpse into Japan's past. Some caves even house luminous moss, a natural monument. During World War II, some of the caves were used as underground munitions factory. Located in Yoshimi Town, Saitama, the caves are accessible by bus from Higashi-Matsuyama Station. Admission is ¥300 for adults and ¥200 for children.
