Located near Yonomori Park and a short walk from Yonomori Station on the JR Joban Line, this avenue features a beautiful tunnel of cherry trees, especially as you walk further south. While visiting, be sure to also explore the Yonomori Cherry Blossom Avenue (North Side) for a complete experience. Note that the area has recovered significantly since the 2011 earthquake and nuclear disaster, with access restrictions eased and cherry blossom festivals revived.
