Oguninuma Marsh, located in Kitashiobara Village, Fukushima Prefecture, is a scenic highland marsh known for its stunning Nikko daylily blooms. Accessible by bus and taxi from Inawashiro Station, the marsh offers an 800m wooden boardwalk for easy exploration. The best time to visit is mid-June to early July when the daylilies are in full bloom, creating a vibrant yellow landscape. Hiking trails also connect Oguninuma to Mt. Nekomagatake, offering beautiful beech forest scenery. Note that shuttle bus services may be limited, and parking can be challenging during peak season. Be prepared for mountain trails and changing weather conditions.
