Korinji Temple, affiliated with the Myoshinji branch of the Rinzai school of Zen Buddhism, is located just off the Niōza Historical Road in Usuki. Founded between 1649 and 1650, the temple was moved to its current location in 1886. Visitors will find a modest main hall and a serene atmosphere, enhanced by the stone steps and walls reminiscent of a small castle. The temple also features a graveyard surrounded by trees.
