Madarao Kogen Ski Resort is a versatile destination for all skill levels, boasting a 1,350m elevation and north-facing slopes known for excellent snow quality and powder. With 30 courses ranging from beginner to advanced, including Japan's largest number of tree run courses (10), there's something for everyone. Located in Madarao Kogen, Iiyama City, Nagano Prefecture, it's accessible by car (25 minutes from Toyota-Iiyama IC) or bus (30 minutes from Iiyama Station). Open from mid-December to early April, the resort offers snowboarding, a snow park, and various ski lifts.
