Step back in time at Showa no Gakkou, a unique museum housed in a former elementary school in Hanamaki, Iwate. This nostalgic attraction features an impressive collection of Showa-era artifacts, from vintage toys and appliances to recreated streetscapes. Explore classrooms filled with retro memorabilia and discover a bygone era. Located between Osawa and Namari Onsen, it's easily accessible by bus from JR Hanamaki Station or a pleasant walk from the onsen towns. Open from 10:00 to 16:00 (November to March) and 9:00 to 17:00 (April to October), closed on Tuesdays and during the New Year holidays. Admission is ¥500 for adults.
