Kurashita no Yu is a unique hot spring facility located between Happo-one and Iwatake in Hakuba. Known for its skin-beneficial waters, the onsen features a distinctive outdoor bath with naturally colored, iron-rich water sourced directly from the Hakuba Shio-no-Michi hot spring. While the facility has a rustic charm, the open-air bath offers a chance to relax and rejuvenate. Note that the outdoor bath may be enclosed with vinyl during winter for warmth. Open from 10 AM to 10 PM (last entry at 9:30 PM) and accessible from Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal, it's a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring the Japanese Alps.
