The Nikko Toshogu Treasure Museum, opened in March 2015, commemorates the 400th anniversary of the Nikko Toshogu Shrine. Located within the shrine grounds, a 7-minute bus ride from Nikko Station, the museum showcases valuable artifacts and treasures associated with Tokugawa Ieyasu. Visitors can enjoy virtual reality experiences and CG animations, including a film about Tokugawa Ieyasu. The museum also features a cafe for relaxation after exploring the shrine. Note that the exhibits are limited, so plan your visit accordingly. Open daily, with hours varying by season, and admission is ¥1,000 for adults.
