Located in the mid-slopes of Mt. Nishi-Azuma, Tengendai Plateau offers skiing from late November to early May due to its high elevation of 1,350m. The Tsugamori slope features unique frost-covered trees from mid-January, and on clear days, provides panoramic views of Mt. Chokai, Mt. Gassan, Mt. Zao, and Mt. Iide. Enjoy excellent snow quality and natural surroundings. Access is via the Tohoku-Chuo Expressway or a bus from JR Yonezawa Station. Don't miss the hot springs at the base of the ropeway and the lodges and pensions on the plateau.
