Located in Hirosaki's Otemon Square, near Hirosaki Castle, the Miniature Buildings exhibit showcases 1/10 scale replicas of Western-style buildings from the Meiji and Taisho eras that once graced or still exist in Hirosaki. These detailed miniatures offer a glimpse into the city's architectural history. While some structures show signs of wear, the collection provides a unique perspective on Hirosaki's modernization. It's conveniently located near the Former Hirosaki City Library and Former To-o Gijuku Foreign Teacher's Residence. Note that the exhibit is covered during winter for protection from snow. Open year-round, but night viewing is unavailable during winter due to snow coverings.
