A striking feature is the approximately 1,000 vermilion torii gates lining the approach, creating a tunnel-like path. Founded in 1773, the shrine is dedicated to deities including Ukanomitama no Kami and Izanami no Mikoto. The shrine is known for bestowing blessings of wish fulfillment and prosperity. Spring and autumn festivals are held on May 15th and November 15th, respectively. Located in Tsawano, Shimane Prefecture, it's accessible by a 30-minute walk from JR Tsawano Station, or a 5-minute car ride.
Barrier-free facilities: 2 wheelchairs available for rent at the shrine, 1 at the Tsuwano Town Tourism Association, and 1 at the Tsuwano Town Hall. Founded in 1773.
