The Kono Kenichi Memorial Hall in Nogata City is located along the retro Tonmachi street. Housed in a Western-style building originally established as a pediatric clinic in 1908, then expanded into a general hospital in 1922, the hall commemorates Kenichi Kono, a Nogata native who became an international businessman and contributed significantly to Manchuria's economy. Inside, you can view exhibits of his personal belongings, photographs, and historical materials. Note that visits are by appointment only, and there is an admission fee of ¥200. It's a great place to step back in time and learn about a prominent figure in Nogata's history.
