Visit Dainagonzuka, the burial site of Toyotomi Hidenaga, located a 10-minute walk from Kintetsu Koriyama Station. Hidenaga, the half-brother of Toyotomi Hideyoshi and known as the Lord of Yamato, was instrumental in supporting Hideyoshi's unification efforts. As lord of Koriyama Castle, he fostered commerce and is revered for his contributions to the town's prosperity. The gravesite, featuring a five-ringed pagoda surrounded by white-walled earthen walls, was restored in the mid-Edo period. It offers a serene glimpse into the legacy of a respected historical figure. Admission is free.
