Located on the shore of Okuchiko Pond in the Juniko area, the Juniko Visitor Center offers insights into the local flora and fauna through exhibits and a model of the entire Juniko lake district. Adjacent to the center is a breeding ground for the rare Ito fish, providing a close-up view of this elusive species. The center provides maps and information helpful for exploring the Juniko walking trails. Open from mid-April to November, it's an ideal starting point for your Juniko adventure. Note that the facility is unmanned and open to the public as of April 2024.
