Otodome Falls, adjacent to Shiraito Falls in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, is steeped in legend, named after a tale where the sound of the waterfall momentarily ceased to allow the Soga brothers to plot their revenge. Designated as a Place of Scenic Beauty and a Natural Monument, the falls cascade from a height of approximately 25 meters. Visitors can access the falls via a 30-minute bus ride from JR Fujinomiya Station, followed by a 5-minute walk from the Shiraito Falls Tourist Information Center. Alternatively, it's about a 40-minute drive from the Shin-Fuji IC on the Shin-Tomei Expressway. Note that viewing may be limited due to ongoing construction, with observation points offering partial views. Parking is available for a fee.
