Kotohiki Hachimangu Shrine, one of the 15 main shrines of Sanuki, is located in Kanonji City, Kagawa Prefecture. It's accessible by a 10-minute bus ride from Kanonji Station or a 15-minute drive from the Sanuki-Toyonaka or Ohnohara ICs. The shrine is known as a place where Minamoto no Yoshitsune prayed for victory, and a wooden torii gate donated by him still stands. The shrine also served as the setting for Kyokutei Bakin's novel, *Tsubakizetsu Yumiharizuki*. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Seto Inland Sea and Kanonji City from the shrine grounds. The shrine is said to have been founded in 703 AD.
