Ramune Onsenkan is a unique hot spring facility featuring a carbonated spring bath where your body is enveloped in silvery bubbles. Located in Taketa, Oita Prefecture, about a 50-minute drive from Asoji IC, this architectural gem designed by Terunobu Fujimori offers both a lukewarm 32°C ramune bath and a 42°C cloudy hot spring. The high concentration of carbon dioxide in the water promotes blood circulation and detoxification. Enjoy the contrast of the black and white exterior and the charming symbol mark by illustrator Shinbo Minami. Note that the outdoor ramune bath is cooler, best enjoyed in warmer months or with sauna sessions.
