Kumomi Falls

Overview

Kumomi Falls, located in Unnan City, Shimane Prefecture, is a designated scenic spot featuring two stunning waterfalls, one cascading down 30 meters and the other 20 meters. A massive 150-meter-wide and 100-meter-high cliff known as 'The Rock Wall' stands tall downstream, creating a breathtaking view. Visitors can often hear the calls of Kajika frogs near the stream. The falls are accessible via a 30-minute bus ride from JR Kisa Station, followed by a 10-minute walk from the parking area. Alternatively, it's a 20-minute drive from the Mitoya Kisa IC, plus a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Be cautious as the ground near the falls can be slippery.
