Seta no Karahashi Bridge, also known as Seta Bridge or Long Bridge, is a historically significant landmark in Otsu, Shiga. Strategically vital since ancient times, it was said that "whoever controls Karahashi controls the realm." The current bridge, rebuilt in 1979, retains its historical charm with earthen colors and ornamental railings.
