The Ouchi-juku Tourist Association is located in the paid parking area at the entrance to the historic Ouchi-juku village. This association provides maps and information about the preserved Edo-era post town. While compact, it's a useful first stop for gathering information before exploring the thatched-roof houses and unique streetscape. Note that the parking area tends to fill up quickly, especially on weekends, so arriving early is recommended. Public restrooms are available here, which is convenient as there's only one restroom inside the village itself. Access is available via the Saruyu-go retro bus from Yunokami Onsen Station.
