Uehara Hot Spring, located a bit away from the central Omachi Onsen area and near the Shiki Theatre Memorial Hall, offers a simple, authentic hot spring experience. It's known as the only spot in Omachi Onsen with free-flowing, natural hot spring water, though not in large quantities. The facility features an indoor bath with hot water sourced from Kuzukawa Onsen. While lacking an open-air bath, it provides a relaxing environment favored by locals. The bathhouse is easily accessible by the Omachi Community Center bus, though service is limited on weekends. Entry is budget-friendly, making it a great option for a quick, soothing dip after visiting nearby attractions like the Omachi Science Museum.
