Mount Issaikyo, a prominent peak in the Azuma mountain range, offers a unique volcanic landscape with ongoing fumarolic activity. While the trail from Jododaira is challenging, the summit rewards hikers with stunning panoramic views, especially of Goshikinuma, known as the "Witch's Eye." Located in Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture, the mountain is accessible by a 90-minute bus ride from Fukushima Station to Jododaira, followed by a 90-minute hike.
