Explore Bukezo, the former residence of a Sagara clan elder, conveniently located in Hitoyoshi, Kumamoto Prefecture. See the impressive Horiai Gate, relocated from Hitoyoshi Castle, and the main house, once a temporary residence for the feudal lord. This building served as Saigo Takamori's accommodation during the Seinan War. The garden resembles Suizenji Park. Don't miss the chance to try the local shochu ice cream.
