It's renowned as one of Japan's top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots, boasting approximately 1,500 cherry trees that bloom beautifully in spring. The park also features 1,800 pine trees, a small zoo, monuments dedicated to author Osamu Dazai, and a monument marking the birthplace of the Tsugaru shamisen. Visit during the cherry blossom season for the most spectacular views, especially the iconic train running through a tunnel of cherry blossoms.
