The Kinutateiwa Grand Suspension Bridge is a pedestrian-only bridge connecting the southern part of Kinugawa Onsen town with the scenic Tateiwa rocks. From the bridge's central balcony, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the Kinugawa River valley and surrounding mountains. After crossing the bridge and passing through the dark Tateiwa Tunnel, you'll reach the Tateiwa Observatory, known as a spot for matchmaking and fertility blessings. The bridge is accessible from Kinugawa Onsen Station (3 minutes by taxi) or the Nikko Utsunomiya Road Imaichi IC (20 minutes by car). The bridge is 140m long and 37m above the water surface.
