The Former Movie Theater Asahi-kan, built in 1925, is a retro building located a short walk from the main street of Uchiko's historic district. While no longer operating as a cinema, its facade is adorned with vintage movie posters, offering a glimpse into its vibrant past. Though the interior is generally closed to the public, the exterior provides a charming photo opportunity and a feel for the Showa era. Check for occasional special events or screenings.
