Located near Nihonmatsu Castle, the Nihonmatsu Castle Information Center is a great starting point for exploring the area's history. The center features exhibits about Nihonmatsu Castle and the local area. Visitors can experience a recreation of Nihonmatsu Castle on a large screen. The first floor houses the Nihonmatsu History Museum (admission fee required), while the rest of the center is free to explore. Don't miss the giant lantern floats displayed in the lobby, which are part of the Nihonmatsu Shrine's annual festival held every October. Open from 9:00 to 17:00, but closed on Mondays (or the following day if Monday is a holiday).
