Pola Museum of Art

Overview

Located in Hakone, the Pola Museum of Art houses a collection of approximately 9,500 works, primarily focusing on Impressionist and École de Paris paintings, including pieces by Monet and Renoir, as well as 20th-century Western art. The museum is set within a beautiful natural environment, offering walking paths and outdoor sculptures. Visitors can enjoy special exhibitions and the permanent collection. The museum is accessible by bus from Odawara and Gora stations. Open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (last entry at 4:30 PM), with occasional closures for exhibit changes or inclement weather. Admission is ¥2200 for adults and ¥1700 for high school and university students; free for junior high school students and younger. Parking is available for a fee.
