Hakusuna Pass, situated at an elevation of 1,680 meters, serves as a crucial link between the two major areas in Oze. The pass is located along the Oze-gahara Forest Road, connecting Nushiri to Shimotashiro Crossroads (commonly known as Miharashi). The trail is well-maintained with wooden paths, though the ascent from Oze-gahara can be challenging. Reaching the pass offers rewarding views and access to Nushiri. Be prepared for potentially muddy conditions, especially during the rainy season. Despite the lack of expansive views from the pass itself, the surrounding sounds of streams and birds provide a tranquil experience.
