Overview

Togenkyo, located in Kinokawa City, Wakayama Prefecture, is renowned for its breathtaking views of peach blossoms. Often referred to as a peach blossom paradise, the area boasts fields where, at a glance, you can see hundreds of thousands of peach trees in full bloom. The best time to visit is from late March to early April when the pink blossoms create a stunning landscape. Temporary parking is available along the Kinokawa River during the blooming season, making it easy to explore the area. While strolling through the area, please remember that the peach orchards are private property, and visitors should refrain from entering the fields or consuming any fruit. In summer, the area is famous for Arakawa peaches.
