Located within the grounds of Kumano Hayatama Taisha Shrine in Shingu, Wakayama, the Sato Haruo Memorial Museum offers a glimpse into the life and works of the renowned poet and author, Sato Haruo. The museum is a relocated and restored version of Sato's former residence in Tokyo, featuring exhibits of his original manuscripts, first editions, and personal belongings. Visitors can explore the charming building, admire its architecture, and learn about Sato's connections to other literary figures. The museum is a 15-minute walk from Shingu Station. Admission is ¥330 for adults and ¥160 for children. It's a great place to visit after seeing the Kumano Hayatama Taisha Shrine.
