The Hexagonal Hall (Rokkaku-dō) is located in the scenic coastal area of Izura, Kitaibaraki. Designed by Okakura Tenshin as a space for meditation and thought, this unique structure offers stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. Rebuilt after the 2011 tsunami, the hall is part of the Ibaraki University Five Arts and Culture Institute. Visitors can explore the hall's surroundings, including Tenshin's former residence and memorial museum. The best views of the Hexagonal Hall can be enjoyed from Misaki Park, a short drive away. Note that there is an admission fee and specific visiting hours.
