The Coral Bridge, located in Kitakami, spans the Kitakami River and offers scenic views, especially during cherry blossom season and winter when swans migrate. Originally built in 1908 by Tokujiro Takadate, it was reconstructed as a Gerber bridge in 1933, similar in design to famous bridges in Tokyo and Osaka. Illuminated at night, it was once considered one of the most beautiful bridges in the prefecture. Visitors can enjoy the cherry trees in spring and watch swans in winter. It's conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Kitakami Station.
